Ficus elastica 'Abidjan' has large, glossy leaves that boast a rich, dark red to almost black color. This color gives the plant a unique, striking appearance. Under the right conditions, this type of rubber tree can grow to a height of two to three meters. Ficus elastica 'Abidjan' develops into a strong and robust plant that can grow quickly.

Ficus elastica 'Abidjan' requires sufficient indirect sunlight to grow well. It is important to keep the soil moist, but too much water can cause root rot. As it is a tropical plant, it is recommended to keep the humidity high, for example by misting regularly. During the winter months, it is advisable to reduce watering.
