The Dracaena marginata, also known as the dragon tree, originates from Madagascar and other islands in the Indian Ocean. Its presence has also been noted in various tropical and subtropical areas of the world, mainly due to its popularity as an indoor plant.
Dracaena marginata is an evergreen shrub known for its characteristic long, thin stems with scissor-shaped leaves. The leaves typically have a rich green color, surrounded by thin red margins, which contribute to its refined appearance. The plant can grow up to 5 meters tall under ideal conditions, although it usually remains smaller indoors.

Caring for Dracaena marginata involves providing indirect light and limiting water, among other things. Although it can tolerate some drought, it is important not to overwater the plant. Under normal living room conditions, the plant should be watered approximately every two weeks. The ideal temperature for this plant is between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius.
