Aralia 'Fabian', also known as Polyscias 'Fabian', belongs to the Araliaceae family. The plant originates from the tropical regions of the Pacific Ocean, mainly Polynesia and Southeast Asia.
Aralia 'Fabian' is a striking indoor plant with a heavy, short trunk and dark green, glossy leaves that have a purplish hue on the underside. The plant can reach a height of 1.5 to 1.8 meters. The leaves form an umbrella structure at the ends of its short, thick branches.
Aralia 'Fabian' is a robust plant that requires little care. It prefers a location with indirect sunlight and can also grow in partial shade. The soil should be moist, but not waterlogged. Regular fertilization is necessary during the growing season in spring and summer. It is recommended to regularly mist the plant to compensate for dry air, especially in the winter months.
The Baq planter from the Tornado collection features a special surface texture with wavy lines and a ribbed design. This planter is made from Fiberclay, a mixture of fiberglass and clay that gives the appearance of stone but is significantly lighter. Suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, the planter has several functional properties. Thanks to its frost resistance, the planter can remain outdoors without damage even during cold periods.
The UV resistance ensures that the planter is protected against ultraviolet rays, thereby providing protection against discoloration and damage from sunlight. In addition, the planter is fire-retardant, making it a safe choice for indoor applications. There is a drainage hole in the bottom to efficiently drain excess water.
This arrangement is set up with the potted plant, filled with Vulkastrat, and equipped with a water level indicator. Vulkastrat absorbs more water than normal soil and gradually releases it to the roots.
