The Aglaonema 'Freedman' is a plant species originally from Southeast Asia. This tropical plant is mainly found in the undergrowth of forests and in open areas of the jungle. The Aglaonema 'Freedman' is characterized by green-grey leaves with a beautiful pattern. The plant has a compact growth and does not usually grow taller than 50 centimeters. The leaves have an oval shape and the plant eventually grows into a beautiful, full bush.
Caring for the Aglaonema 'Freedman' is generally quite easy. The plant prefers a semi-shady spot without direct sunlight. It also appreciates high humidity, which is why this plant is ideal for the bathroom. When watering, less is more. The soil should be allowed to dry out slightly between watering cycles. In winter, watering once every two weeks is often sufficient. The Aglaonema 'Freedman' cannot tolerate temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius.
