Solid Design Wall Desk & Console "Tana" with two large drawers, flexibly usable

TANA is a series of wall furniture designed by architect Rikke Rützou Arnved. Common to all is a simple expression, undisturbed by handles or suspensions, where straight lines and clear surfaces are allowed to stand in their undisturbed form. The basic structure of TANA consists of wood, which meets effortlessly. The horizontal surface creates a storage area for objects, while the vertical surface forms a calm, coherent background for whatever you place on the furniture.

Designer Rikke Rützou Arnved:

Rikke Rützou Arnved is interested in how spaces and materials can affect people's well-being and designs everything from interiors to the furniture within the space. Rikke Rützou Arnved graduated as an architect from the Royal Academy in Copenhagen in 2001 and is inspired to create a new and improved interpretation of an atmosphere, a space or a piece of furniture.

• New Works wurde von Nikolaj Meier und Knut Bendik Humlevik aus dem Wunsch heraus gegründet, ein Designhaus zu gründen, in dem Design mit Sorgfalt und Absicht zum Leben erweckt wird und in dem es Raum für kreative Experimente gibt - ein Ort für neue Arbeiten. Während Nikolaj als CEO mit Zahlen und dem Tagesgeschäft jongliert, ist Knut Bendik als Creative Director für das besondere Erscheinungsbild verantwortlich. Gemeinsam mit einem kleinen, engagierten Team machen sie sich auf den Weg, eine kuratierte Kollektion gehobener, aber dennoch zugänglicher Wohnobjekte zu definieren. Mit diesem Ziel gestalten sie die sich ständig weiterentwickelnde Geschichte von New Works.
