Indoor/Outdoor Rug “Sycamore” – Large Leaf Shapes as a Focal Point

The “Sycamore” rug by ORLA KIELY is made from 100% polypropylene and is designed for indoor and outdoor use.

Generous, stylized leaves and clear contrasts give “Sycamore” its expressive graphic design. Its organic contours provide a lively counterpoint to straight-lined furniture. Whether under a seating group on the patio or in the living room, the rug combines floral touches with a modern, easy-to-read visual language.

Available in several sizes and colorways. A 30 × 30 cm sample is also available.

• ORLA KIELY

• Who could say it better than Orla herself: My passion for Mid-Century design has had a lasting influence on every aspect of my work and the products that have emerged from it—from our ready-to-wear clothing, handbags and accessories to watches, jewellery, stationery, homewares and home textiles. The references are subtle but an integral part of Orla Kiely design. Often perceived as retro, we are constantly reinventing ourselves and striving for something new. My colour palette was developed to build on Modernism in a contemporary way. Organic elements are drawn, refined and simplified into perfect motifs, which are then repeated to create a rhythmic pattern for everyday use. A cup, a little tin, a towel—humble everyday objects deserve and require the same attention and love of detail as our leather handbags or silk dresses. Integrity is always present. With Orla’s words still ringing in our ears, we present the first Orla Kiely rug collection. Wonderful, familiar designs, expertly produced from the finest materials. See for yourself and be inspired.
