The marble base provides natural stability, and the polished stone feels pleasant to the touch. With light diffused across the entire upper part of the fixture, the table lamp offers high light output. A turned, recessed metal circle on the top of the lamp adds a refined detail to the design.

After years of experience as a product designer, Knut Bendik Humlevik became Creative Director of New Works in 2014. He continues the story of New Works in collaboration with a number of internationally renowned designers and also contributes his own pieces to the collection. He combines his Scandinavian heritage with an internationally inspired passion for honest materials to create artistic and highly functional objects.
