• CACHFIRES was founded in Denmark in 2010 by brothers Casper Winberg Lanng and Christoffer Lanng Mortensen, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to install wood-burning stoves in more and more countries. This is due both to the difficulty of installing them in houses and apartments and to the growing number of rules and restrictions on wood-burning stoves. This is a result of the increased focus on the environment. Since childhood, the brothers had spent many cozy evenings with their family gathered around the wood-burning stove. However, their enjoyment faded when they had to move one day and discovered how difficult it was to install a wood-burning stove. The brothers therefore began looking for an alternative that could provide their family with the same cozy atmosphere. They discovered both bioethanol fireplaces and electric fireplaces, but the brothers felt there was not enough information about safety, installation, and use. For this reason, the two brothers decided to take matters into their own hands. They became experts in the field. They then decided that others should also benefit from their knowledge. That is why they founded the company CACHFIRES, giving others the opportunity to create the perfect fireplace atmosphere without having to install a chimney or obtain approval from a building inspector.
