The pan is oven-safe up to 260°C, has optimal heat distribution, and withstands the use of metal utensils. To ensure you enjoy your pan for a long time, it is recommended to always wash/care for it with conventional cleaning agents and you should avoid the pan heating up or cooling down too quickly.

The CTX series features SCANPAN's robust Stratanium® non-stick coating. This surface is easy to clean and is produced entirely without the chemical compounds PFOA and PFOS. All products in the CTX series are built from 5 layers, each of which has a special function. Steel, for example, ensures long durability and aluminum provides excellent and even heat distribution. Der perfekt strukturierte Fertigungsprozess trägt dazu bei, das Versprechen einzuhalten zu können, dass du stets Freude an deinem SCANPAN-Kochgeschirr haben wirst. Bei der Herstellung wird zunächst recyceltes Aluminium geschmolzen und dannvon Hand in Gussformen gefüllt, bevor die Pfannen und Töpfe mit 250 Tonnen Druck gepresst werden. Dieses einzigartige Druckgussverfahren sorgt für eine gleichmässige Wärmeverteilung, wodurch ein hervorragendes Kocherlebnis garantiert wird. Eine aussergewöhnliche Qualität und hohe Anforderungen an den Produktionsprozess kommen nicht von ungefähr – sie sind das Ergebnis jahrelanger Erfahrung und erstklassiger Fachkenntnis.
