The simple yet high-quality MAY collection is crafted from powder-coated steel. This durable furniture family comprises stackable chairs with and without armrests, lounge chairs, garden benches, and garden tables in various sizes, all harmoniously coordinated and complementary. The MAY collection's understated, monochrome aesthetic is rich in detail without being overly technical. The chair sets the tone for the design's defining interplay, where a delicate surface meets a bold frame – two contrasting elements that somehow comfortably coexist.

The lightweight sheet steel, closely conforming to the robust steel frame, forms a strong and comfortable seat that is slightly curved to gently embrace the body. A slot in the seat allows for water drainage and is a subtle detail on the otherwise uniform surface. Mirrored in the tables, it creates a repetition of lines that lends lightness, charm, and unity to the family.

Designers Hannes & Fritz:

Hannes & Fritz is the design studio of Johannes Breuer and Fritz Gräber. With Johannes in Stuttgart and Fritz in Zurich, they develop each project through a blend of individual and collaborative work across different cities. Both possess very similar skills and shared interests, yet each brings their own unique perspective to their joint projects: Johannes' tendency to be more linear and emblematic, and Fritz's more dynamic and expressive design language. Together, the results are more interesting than what either designer could have achieved individually.
