The series is manufactured in Denmark and features the unique Stratanium® non-stick coating, a surface that is extremely durable, easy to clean, and PFOA-free. SCANPAN Classic is made from hand-cast recycled aluminum, because for SCANPAN, the protection of people and the environment holds unparalleled importance.
Aluminum is a very lightweight material, making it effortless to handle during daily kitchen use. The specially constructed base of Classic products guarantees excellent thermal conductivity as well as excellent cooking and frying properties. *The pan handle is equipped with a patented locking system that uses no screws or rivets. This ensures that the handle will not loosen over time. The pan and handle can withstand oven temperatures of up to 260°. *For a long life, we recommend washing the pan with conventional detergents and avoiding rapid heating and cooling.
