Characteristic of the SCANPAN Fusion 5 series is its innovative multi-layer construction consisting of five aluminum and steel layers. The aluminum core is located not only in the base but also on the sides of the cookware, thus enabling energy-efficient heat distribution and retention.
The layers of stainless steel and aluminum are – similar to a sandwich – alternately stacked one above the other. The high-quality 18/10 stainless steel layer inside the pots and pans ensures high wear resistance, and the steel layer cast into the base makes the Fusion 5 series induction-compatible.
Thanks to the perfectly matched aluminum-stainless steel combination, you save a lot of time when preparing food and consume less energy.
