Over time, the cookware in the Black Iron series develops a natural patina. This protective layer of burnt-in fat develops naturally with frequent use and ensures that even delicate foods release easily from the bottom of the pan.

Pre-treated with vegetable oil, this cookware offers increased corrosion resistance and natural release.

Bei der Herstellung wird zunächst recyceltes Aluminium geschmolzen und dannvon Hand in Gussformen gefüllt, bevor die Pfannen und Töpfe mit 250 Tonnen Druck gepresst werden. Dieses einzigartige Druckgussverfahren sorgt für eine gleichmässige Wärmeverteilung, wodurch ein hervorragendes Kocherlebnis garantiert wird. Eine aussergewöhnliche Qualität und hohe Anforderungen an den Produktionsprozess kommen nicht von ungefähr – sie sind das Ergebnis jahrelanger Erfahrung und erstklassiger Fachkenntnis. Viele der Mitarbeiter von SCANPAN arbeiten seit 20 Jahren in der Produktionshalle und verfügen daher über wertvolles Know-how und exzellente Kenntnisse im Hinblick auf die Produktionsmethoden und Qualitätskontrollen.
