Ficus lyrata is popular for its striking, large leaves that resemble the shape of a violin, hence the name fiddle-leaf fig. The glossy leaves are thick and have prominent veins that contrast with the light green color of the leaf. It is a strong, air-purifying houseplant that thrives well indoors.
