Product description
The carefully selected plant and flower arrangements are handcrafted and assembled by experienced florists. The plant is lovingly arranged in a high-quality flowerpot and equipped with a planting system.
Product details plant:
The Ficus lyrata, also known as the fiddle-leaf fig, originated in West Africa. There it grows in tropical rainforests, particularly from Cameroon to the Ivory Coast. The plant belongs to the Moraceae family, or mulberry family. In the wild, the Ficus lyrata can grow into a tree up to 12 meters high.
The Ficus lyrata is popular for its striking, large leaves, which have the shape of a violin, hence the name fiddle-leaf fig. The glossy leaves are thick and have prominent veins that contrast with the light green color of the leaf. It is a strong, air-purifying houseplant that thrives well indoors. The growth of this plant is relatively slow, but with proper care, it can grow several meters high indoors.
The Ficus lyrata requires special care for optimal growth. It needs sufficient indirect sunlight and prefers a warm, humid environment, similar to its original habitat. In addition, the plant needs good water supply, but without the roots standing in water. The soil should be well-drained to avoid root rot. During the growing season in spring and summer, it is necessary to fertilize the plant regularly.
*Substrate: Soil culture
*absolute premium quality
*Humidity: 40%
*Leaf color: Green
*Country of origin: Netherlands
*Country of origin: Netherlands
Planting system:
This arrangement is placed in a high-quality ceramic flowerpot (Ø 50 cm x height 50 cm) with the potted plant, filled with Vulkastrat and provided with a water level indicator. Vulkastrat absorbs more water than normal soil and gradually releases it to the roots.
