A tagine, recognizable by its conical lid, is an easy-to-use piece of cookware for preparing stews. The unique design of the tagine means you need to use very little water. During cooking, the lid collects the steam, thus keeping the moisture inside the tagine. The result is tender meat, juicy vegetables, and fish.
Made of cast iron, it heats the contents evenly and slowly, ideal for all types of dishes. You can use the tagine in the oven and on various stovetops, but wash the tagine by hand and dry it immediately to care for it properly.
