The timeless and stylish serveware from LSA's SERVE collection is mouth-blown and shaped by experienced craftsmen in a very elaborate process. The foot of the cake stand is shaped by hand and attached to the stem while the glass is still malleable. The handle of the dome is pulled from molten glass and applied to the dome by hand. The rims of both glasses are melted under a flame to create a soft, rounded surface. Subsequently, the conical foot is shaped with great precision using a wooden tool and attached to the glass. The complex process takes place while the glass is still hot and malleable.
