The Madrid-based designer utilizes the natural properties of materials, often pushing the boundaries of conventional manufacturing methods to offer a new perspective to the design industry. • New Works wurde von Nikolaj Meier und Knut Bendik Humlevik aus dem Wunsch heraus gegründet, ein Designhaus zu gründen, in dem Design mit Sorgfalt und Absicht zum Leben erweckt wird und in dem es Raum für kreative Experimente gibt - ein Ort für neue Arbeiten. Während Nikolaj als CEO mit Zahlen und dem Tagesgeschäft jongliert, ist Knut Bendik als Creative Director für das besondere Erscheinungsbild verantwortlich. Gemeinsam mit einem kleinen, engagierten Team machen sie sich auf den Weg, eine kuratierte Kollektion gehobener, aber dennoch zugänglicher Wohnobjekte zu definieren.
