Design Teapot "Yoko" with Warmer - DEEPLY ROOTED TRADITION IN AN ULTRA-MODERN GUISE

When one thinks of tea, Great Britain often comes to mind first. However, while the British ceremony largely refers to the time (5 PM, TeaTime), Japanese tea art is celebrated with almost religious devotion. The YOKO teapot with warmer is a modern designed homage to centuries-old rituals. The typically Japanese design language of the bulbous pot with the wide, expansive handle has been ultimately translated into the here and now by designers Metz + Kindler. The warmer is anything but a soulless metal frame, as is unfortunately often the case. The base is made of dark mango wood. Only the rests for the pot and tea light are made of high-gloss, black stainless steel. The pot itself is also brought to life entirely from stainless steel.
