Kintsugi Collection

Simple, unusual and not quite perfect - these are the qualities Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba strives for in the "Kintsugi" collection. This modern tableware collection is inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese method of repairing broken porcelain and ceramics with gold.

The "Kintsugi" collection consists of cups, mugs, bowls, plates, vases, and a tray, all of which look as if individual pieces from different dinnerware sets have been assembled. Some pieces feature floral motifs, others are brightly colored, and still others are plain white. Each piece in the collection is made of white porcelain, and all individual parts are joined together with fine gold.

For perfect everyday usability, all elements of the "Kintsugi" collection are microwave and dishwasher safe. Surprise your guests with this collection, which is as charming as it is astonishing.

• Seletti

• Seletti: Eye-Catching Home Décor Between Classic and Modern With the home accessories from the Italian brand Seletti, you can immerse yourself in a nonconformist, playful and fascinating world where creativity takes center stage: For decades, the family-owned company’s numerous product categories have drawn inspiration from a strong connection with the Far East. Both its founder, Romano Seletti, and his children, Stefano and Miria, have traveled and continue to travel through China, India and Thailand—not only to import products, but also to find inspiration in the culture, craftsmanship and people. Over time, this has led to the development of various branches spanning lighting, furniture, tableware and other home accessories, allowing Seletti’s creative minds to bring their ideas about contemporary art and industrial design to life. Seletti Designers Know How to Combine Styles Simple, but only seemingly classic at first glance, the Estetico quotidiano collection reinterprets typical “disposable packaging” in fine porcelain. The bowls, sugar bowls and coffee cups resemble, for example, the plastic cups used for coffee to go, while the sugar bowl imitates the aesthetics of a tin can. The classic white gives the tableware an elegant appearance, while the unusual, modern shapes will put a smile on your face every time you use them. With designs such as the Submarino accessory set for the bathroom, Seletti also showcases its playful side, bringing humor and imagination into your everyday life: The set includes a soap dispenser, a toothbrush holder and two compartments for small items. Inspired by the colors of a submarine, it is also available from Madeindesign in vibrant shades. Equally colorful, but stylistically very different from the Estetico quotidiano tableware, the Hybrid collection is an exuberant mix of tradition and modernity that comes to life in every piece. Seletti Lighting – Neon Art Wall Lamp or Upcycled Pendant Light? Seletti also specializes in all kinds of lights that not only brighten the darkness but also shine from an aesthetic perspective. The various collections take entirely different, yet always innovative, directions: On the one hand, Seletti offers the Neon Art collection, featuring various home and wall lights in a Pop Art design. On the other hand, you can choose one of the Egg of Columbus pendant lights. Made from recycled cardboard, these lamps reinvent the classic pendant-light shape while embracing the latest design trend: upcycling. The material used for these lights, designed by Valentina Carretta, is normally used for egg cartons and thus finds its way into your home in a stylish and creative manner.
