LOWELL is covered with a very durable, textured fabric that has a wear resistance of 35,000 Martindale. For optimal comfort, the chair can be rotated 360°. The wood used for the seat and backrest is FSC®-certified and comes from sustainable and environmentally conscious forestry.

**Martindale is a procedure that determines the abrasion resistance and thus the durability of fabrics. The Martindale method simulates the daily wear and tear of covers, especially seat covers and upholstery fabrics. Thus, a wear number is determined, which indicates when the fabric begins to wear out. For private use, between 10,000 - 15,000 Martindale is considered appropriate.
