First, the bowl is blown into a metal mold to create the round, silhouette. Then, the base is shaped with great precision using a wooden tool and attached to the stem. The complex process takes place while the glass is still hot and malleable. The fine rim is fire-polished to create a smooth surface.
A generous, rounded bowl and thick, tubular stem create a modern silhouette, hand-painted with a wide gold band at the base. The LUCA glasses are thus not only eye-catching, but each one is a true one-of-a-kind design
