Salt & Pepper Shaker "Elbphilharmonie

A Tribute to Hamburg

This is what designer Steve McGugan says about the ELBHARMONIE salt + pepper shakers: "Whenever I visit Hamburg, the gateway to the world, from Copenhagen, I am fascinated to watch the development of the construction of the Elbphilharmonie. I find its design simply beautiful and very poetic. So I came up with the idea of designing a product as a tribute to this magnificent building that would also remind us of it in everyday life. PHILIPPI responded enthusiastically to my ELBHARMONIE salt and pepper shakers. Viewed individually, the shakers look like a modern sculpture; placed together in their tray, they create a miniature excitingly similar to the Elbphilharmonie".
