The Santoku knife from the MAITRE D`series by SCANPAN offers a wide knife blade with grooves that reduce friction and facilitate cutting even large pieces of fruit and vegetables. The wide blade offers good and precise control over the cut.The knife blade is made of the best German stainless steel - with focus on optimal sharpness and cutting properties. The handle is designed with inspiration from traditional Japanese ergonomic design in a teardrop shape for a comfortable and firm grip. The beautiful black wrapped wood handle is water resistant and cannot absorb moisture.

During the manufacturing process, recycled aluminum is first melted and then hand-filled into molds before the pans and pots are pressed at 250 tons of pressure. This unique die-casting process ensures even heat distribution, guaranteeing a superior cooking experience. Exceptional quality and high standards in the production process do not come by chance - they are the result of years of experience and first-class expertise. Many of SCANPAN's employees have been working on the production floor for 20 years and therefore have valuable know-how and excellent knowledge with regard to production methods and quality controls.
