In their TENSE collection for New Works, designers Panter & Tourron explore tensions in materials and bring airy, fluid shapes to life. The Tense Wall Light's dreamy, cloud-like shade dispenses soft light, creating a sculptural feel that suits a variety of architectural settings. The textile-like, soft Tyvek diffuser, reminiscent of crackling paper, gives the luminaire a pleasant feel while being durable, flame retardant and 100% recyclable. When the light is turned on, the undulating texture of the material is highlighted in a delicate interplay between light and shadow. The Tense Wall Light is equipped with an integrated LED light source and a discreet on/off switch at the base.

New Works was founded by Nikolaj Meier and Knut Bendik Humlevik out of a desire to create a design house where design is brought to life with care and intention and where there is room for creative experimentation - a place for new work.
