Portable and dimmable LED table lamp "Kizu" with gray marble base
Portable LED table lamp from KIZU collection stands out for its sculptural composition that balances bold shapes. The illusion of gravity creates a tension inside the object, while the curved shapes trigger a calming effect. This kissing point of material and function creates an object in perfect harmony.
The materials and expression are as we know them, but this cordless, smaller version of the KIZU table lamp is easy to transport wherever light is needed. The marble as a supporting element gives the lamp a natural stability and the polished stone is pleasant to the touch.
Since the light spreads over the entire upper part of the lamp, the table lamp provides high light output. A twisted, recessed metal circle on the top of the lamp adds a sophisticated detail to the design, and by lightly tapping the circle, the light can be dimmed to three different levels.
The portable KIZU lamp has a battery life of 10 hours at a light setting of 100% and charges via a USB-C cable.

New Works was founded by Nikolaj Meier and Knut Bendik Humlevik out of a desire to create a design house where design is brought to life with care and intention and where there is room for creative experimentation - a place for new work. While Nikolaj juggles numbers and the day-to-day business as CEO, Knut Bendik is responsible for the special look and feel as Creative Director. Together with a small, dedicated team, they set out to define a curated collection of upscale, yet accessible, residential properties. With this goal in mind, they are shaping New Works' ever-evolving story.
