Noble table lamp "Kizu" Large with black marble base
The table lamp from the KIZU collection captivates with its sculptural composition that balances bold shapes. The illusion of gravity creates a tension inside the object, while the curved shapes trigger a calming effect. This kissing point of material and function creates an object in perfect harmony.
The marble as a supporting element gives the lamp a natural stability, and the polished stone is pleasant to the touch. Since the light spreads over the entire upper part of the lamp, the table lamp offers a high light output. A twisted recessed metal circle on the top of the lamp adds a refined detail to the design.

After years of experience as a product designer, Knut Bendik Humlevik became creative director of New Works in 2014. He continues the history of New Works in collaboration with a number of internationally renowned designers and also contributes his own pieces to the collection. He combines his Scandinavian heritage with an internationally inspired passion for honest materials to create artistic and highly functional objects.
