- Product video
Lansing is a free-standing fireplace where the flames can be seen from 2 opposite sides. This fireplace is ideal as a room divider between the living room and kitchen, for example.
This bio fireplace is supplied with a manual fire vessel with a capacity of 3.5 liters. When fully filled, this results in a burning time of around 7.5 hours. As it is a manual burner, it does not need to be connected to the mains as it is operated manually using a tool supplied.
This 60 cm fire vessel has a heat output of 3.26 kW. This is about half the heat of a wood-burning stove.
During operation, the fireplace becomes very hot, so it is not recommended to place flammable materials or flowers on it, at least while the fireplace is in operation or still hot.

CACHFIRES was founded in 2010 by the brothers Casper Winberg Lanng and Christoffer Lanng Mortensen in Denmark because it is becoming more and more difficult to install wood-burning stoves in more and more countries. Both because installation in houses and apartments is difficult and because there will be more rules and restrictions against wood-burning stoves. This is due to the increased focus on the environment.
Since their childhood, the brothers have spent many cozy evenings with the family around the wood stove. But the joy faded when they had to move house one day and realized how difficult it was to install a wood-burning stove. The brothers therefore set out to find an alternative that could provide the family with the same cozy atmosphere. They found both the bioethanol fireplace and the electric fireplace, but the brothers lacked more information about safety, installation and use. For this reason, the two brothers decided to take matters into their own hands. They made themselves experts in the field. They then decided that others should also benefit from their knowledge. That's why they started Frima Cachfires, to give others the opportunity to create the perfect fireplace atmosphere without having to install a chimney and have a building surveyor's permit.
