An insert burner designed for installation in a traditional, currently closed fireplace. With this free-standing insert burner, you can easily transform your old fireplace into a modern bioethanol fireplace. The burner provides warmth and a cozy atmosphere. A chimney is not required for this bioethanol fireplace. The burner can therefore also be used when the fireplace is closed.
The free-standing insert burner has a capacity of 2.5 liters and the burning time with a full tank is approx. 7.5 hours. It is not recommended to add more bioethanol than you think you will use.
This free-standing insert burner must be operated manually and does not require electricity. The fire can be lit with a lighter and is extinguished by removing the oxygen. It is possible to adjust the size of the flames manually. This allows you to reduce the consumption and heat of the fire.
No installation is required for this burner. Once you have received the burner, all you have to do is unpack and assemble the parts. The six pieces of wood supplied can be placed in the grate. This ensures that the pieces of wood do not cover the opening of the fireplace. The only thing you need to do is place the burner in the desired position.

CACHFIRES was founded in 2010 by the brothers Casper Winberg Lanng and Christoffer Lanng Mortensen in Denmark because it is becoming more and more difficult to install wood-burning stoves in more and more countries. Both because installation in houses and apartments is difficult and because there will be more rules and restrictions against wood-burning stoves. This is due to the increased focus on the environment.
Since their childhood, the brothers have spent many cozy evenings with the family around the wood stove. But the joy faded when they had to move house one day and realized how difficult it was to install a wood-burning stove. The brothers therefore set out to find an alternative that could provide the family with the same cozy atmosphere. They found both the bioethanol fireplace and the electric fireplace, but the brothers lacked more information about safety, installation and use. For this reason, the two brothers decided to take matters into their own hands. They made themselves experts in the field. They then decided that others should also benefit from their knowledge. That's why they started Frima Cachfires, to give others the opportunity to create the perfect fireplace atmosphere without having to install a chimney and have a building surveyor's permit.
