After years of experience as a product designer, Knut Bendik Humlevik became creative director of New Works in 2014. He continues the New Works story in collaboration with a number of internationally renowned designers and also contributes his own pieces to the collection. He combines his Scandinavian heritage with an internationally inspired passion for honest materials to create artistic and highly functional objects.

New Works was founded by Nikolaj Meier and Knut Bendik Humlevik out of a desire to create a design house where design is brought to life with care and intention and where there is room for creative experimentation - a place for new work. While Nikolaj juggles numbers and the day-to-day business as CEO, Knut Bendik is responsible for the special look and feel as Creative Director.
