Origin: Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' is a green houseplant that originally comes from Africa. There the plant grows in various environments, from rainforests to desert climates. Due to its adaptability, Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' is now also popular as a houseplant in many parts of the world.
Position: Dracaenas are true shade plants. They need a maximum of 3 hours of direct sunlight per day. If the Dracaena is to be placed near a window, it is advisable to start in winter. The plant can then be gradually moved closer to the window so that it can tolerate direct sunlight in summer. Colorful specimens such as the Dracaena (Pleomele) Song of India like a sunny spot.
