Product details Plant:
Origin: The Dracaena fragrans 'Charley', known as the corn plant, has its origins in tropical Africa. Almost all Dracaena species originate from Africa and some parts of South Asia. The plant enjoys the climate in these regions, especially the high humidity, sparse light and warm temperatures.
Position: Dracaenas are true shade plants. They need a maximum of 3 hours of direct sunlight per day. If the Dracaena is to be placed near a window, it is advisable to start in winter. The plant can then be gradually moved closer to the window so that it can tolerate direct sunlight in summer. Colorful specimens such as the Dracaena (Pleomele) Song of India like a sunny spot.
Characteristics: Dracaena fragrans 'Charley' is a slow-growing plant that can reach an average height of one to three meters. It has long, broad leaves that are glossy green in color and grow outwards from the central stem. This plant species is characterized by its unique flower pattern, where the flowers often open at night. The flowers are fragrant, hence the Latin name 'fragrans'.
Care: When caring for Dracaena fragrans 'Charley', it is important to know that this plant thrives in indirect sunlight. The plant requires little care and is resistant to dry air, although higher humidity can promote growth. Moderate watering once a week is sufficient, but make sure the soil dries out well between waterings to prevent root rot. The plant prefers room temperature or slightly warmer temperatures.
Product details flower pot:
The first-class workmanship proves that the LUXE LITE collection has been put together with great attention to detail. Each planter has its own individual look. The planters are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic or fiberclay. These materials are extremely strong and yet lightweight.
Planting system:
This arrangement is set up with the potted plant, filled with Vulkastrat and fitted with a water level indicator. Vulkastrat absorbs more water than normal soil and gradually releases it to the roots.
