Origin: Dracaena deremensis 'Warneckei', also known as Striped Dracaena, originates from the tropical parts of Africa. Despite its African roots, the plant often grows in domestic environments worldwide. It is a popular houseplant because of its elegant appearance and ease of maintenance.
Position: Dracaenas are true shade plants. They need a maximum of 3 hours of direct sunlight per day. If the Dracaena is to be placed near a window, it is advisable to start in winter.
