First, the clay is shaped by hand to give the pot the right shape. Once the clay has solidified, the next step is to make the flower pot durable by firing the clay at high temperatures in a ceramic kiln. The clay is then quickly cooled again. Finally, experienced artisans paint the pot by hand.
